Butterfly

  • Body Position: Close to surface, stokes initiated from the hips, legs kick from hips. Drive feet down forcefully.

  • Arms: Entry in line with shoulders. Hands scull out under the body.

  • Breathing: To the front or to the side. Head down before arms enter.

  • Timing:P kick as hands enter, kick as hands push.

  • Turns: After push, kick in stretch.

  • Finish: In stretch position, according to Law.
